Justin Bieber apology for smoking weed? It's not what you think, as Bieber was apologizing for smoking weed on a skit he performed on "Saturday Night Live" and not actually in real life. According to a report from Sunday (Feb. 10), there were jokes made during the sketch which poked fun at a story that broke in January about Bieber smoking pot.
It was back on Jan. 4 that TMZ posted pictures which allegedly showed Bieber smoking marijuana and it created a lot of bad publicity for him. It was considered a big scandal for a little while, leading to the premise of several jokes on "SNL." Now the question becomes whether fans will see this as a real apology or merely skating through the issue by a celebrity.
Posing as the president of the Miley Cyrus fan club, he started making fun of Cyrus (played by Vanessa Bayer) for being friends with Bieber. His first joke was, "You're kidding me right. He looks like a lesbian... I heard he still has his baby teeth." It was the second part that perked the ears of many fans as he stated, "I also heard he got busted for smoking weed and he's really sorry about it and people make mistakes and he's never gonna do it again."
Whether that is a real Justin Bieber apology for smoking weed or whether he was just taking part in a joke is currently up for debate.
